Even though I usually find no time to comment on these forums, I'm coming to here every now and then und seeing how my precious piano friends keeping up their good works :)

re:your question about fireworks:

Yes the Chinese invented fireworks but here in Beijing they are forbidden to use in the city. Only if done officially it is ok. :)

A wise policy. I so wish they would do that here too. It's been like a bloody war zone for almost a week, sale starting early because of the weekend. Despite the economic crisis there were more, and heavier fireworks than ever. No fun if you have dogs (or even without them). I'm interested to see how many people have incurred eye and hand damage this year.
