No piano at hand but I really like this. Very interesting how you start both on AND off the tonic. Immediately this recalled for me the writing of Brahms, whose distant progeny this work is. I was glad to see that you included a contrasting B section. I look forward to trying it out.

Mr. Vezzoli,

I had a listen to this piece and I agree with Eddy, this is some great writing and it's reminiscent of Brahms. later Rachmaninov, even. Like some pieces from his Op. 23. Mr. Motterle did a fine job, as I am sure a cold MIDI performance in finale can only evoke so much emotion. Any plans for more pieces? Is this the only stucke in your klavierstucke :?: :P

A beautiful piece indeed. Unabashedly romantic with echoes of Brahms, Medtner, Rachmaninov, and Scriabin. Pity about the clangy piano sound. The pianist does a very decent job but could have applied some more dynamics and less pedal.

I hear the Brahms. It is a charming piece. I must agree with Chris that the sound quality does it disservice. If we don't get to hear the other three, can we see the scores?

these are the other 3 stucke for the "klavierstuke" there's still some details to be arranged.

the sound of the piano depends on whether the instruments is not tuned for the occasion, is a old Fazioli
