In our ongoing effort to complete the Triakontameron set, here is the current list of the pieces that are still open (and the ones already spoken for).

To some of you members who have not yet contributed – why don’t you check out some of these missing pieces on IMSLP and give one or two (or more) of them a shot. Wouldn’t it be fun to play something new? They’re not very long. I’ll even give you a nice little reward if you do!

Can someone recommend me one of the missing pieces which is not that hard and suitable for small public performances? I think I'll have to make one in January again and have no prepared pieces now. Besides I'd like to participate in this project of you guys

Try Youtube. There are lots of recordings of the Triakontameron, but I'm not sure if the ones missing from our collection are there or not. Also, all them are on IMSLP so you can glance at the ones missing and see if they look appealing to you.

If you want a nice couple of Triakontameron to play for public - regardless of whether or not we have them on our site already - you can't go wrong with Alt Wein and The Salon. Those are two of my favorites and audience love them. Also, there is a real short one called The Little Tango Rag. It's only about a minute long and pretty easy to play. It's a great one to end with because it's very cute! I'll be playing it myself this coming Friday but didn't know I'd be playing in public until a few days ago so now I'm frantically trying to memorize a couple pieces; this Tango being one of them. I'll be playing on a ship - a first for me!

Does that mean that your ship has come in? I realized the other day that if I'm going to wait for my ship to come in, I better move closer to a bigger body of water.

In the old to-do-list of Triakontameron I still had to prepare Nos.10-29-30. I'm sorry to say that at the moment I cannot finish my part. Happy to see that Andreas will take care of No.29. I remember that Chris already wanted to do No.30, which probably should be left for this PS project to a pianist from USA. The No.10 slot is empty so maybe in future, if nobody takes it, eventually I should do my part to complete the project...

Monica, thank you for your comment! I really want to join in this project and definitely will check YT and IMSLP. And the best wishes for your performance in that ship! (How romantic ) I believe you'll do that well. You have even an experience of playing in a competition, don't you?!
