Hi Ivan,

I'm a bit puzzled by this corny prelude elaboration and the rather trite Oberek. Based on these I would say that you have considerable dexterity but don't care too much for classical style and accuracy. I then found out you are a piano major and respected accompanist and that puzzled me even more. Why submit stuff like this ? I did like parts of the Raindrops (though the sound is terrible and not all of it is interesting), and the tango-dream, while far too long, seems to have a certain intellectual quality which may appeal to the improvisers here. Some gamelan-like sounds in these pieces caught my ear.

All in all, you seem like 4 different people to me here. No doubt you have lurked around this site for a while and have an idea of the repertoire and quality that we appreciate here ? These pieces are not really our 'cup of tea' . . .

Sorry to sound a little dismissive. I hope you can submit something more appropriate and better recorded.

Good, welcome !
Though why did you delete your submissions ? Maybe others had wanted to comment too.
