I definitely should widen my Chopin repertoire (consisting of a single one Nocturne) the next year, shouldn't I?

Yes, you should. And you should play something you like. :P

I've just seen that no recordings of Waltzes Opp.34/3 and 42 exist on the site...

I'd like very much to learn the 2nd sonata, but it's way too advanced for me now.

Oh come on, you act like you're aging and decrepit! You can at least play the third movement...even I can do that!

Aging, of course, but pianistically I've yet to come of age.
