It's great that you've got internet now... I don't know how you've managed to live without it. I would've gone insane!

Terez: there is a saying--you dont know how much you miss it until you dont have it. I know that you missed me

Alf: so when are you coming to visit me? Or should I visit you? But I really dont want to be caught up in all the corruption and mess that is the Italian government, :?

Sarah: Adaptation is key. When in Rome do what the Romans do. That means for a while I was going to the sole Internet cafe and fed off the wireless networks when I was at my company lessons

Cheap shot, Juuf. But bear in mind that one of the powerful supporting groups of Berlusconi and Co. is the Vatican together with the more conservative among the catholic voters.

HA, true. Currently I have no plans to visit Poland (I'd like though, since I've never been there), but if you feel like to come to Northern Italy we can arrange to meet up.

Maybe when I win the Polish lottery, as of now I have no cash. :x

I would think that all you Europeans would be flocking over to Poland pretty soon for Chopin's big birthday. It's not that far, is it?

JG - can I come and stay at your Grandmas at around March 1st? :D

Here we're pinching pennies as well.

Every time I listen to Chopin, I get the urge to invade Poland! (That was Woody Allen slightly adapted). Monica, I definitely should widen my Chopin repertoire (consisting of a single one Nocturne) the next year, shouldn't I?

Of course, everybody should expand his or her Chopin repertoire! :D

And speaking of traveling - here is my latest idea . Let's start a new fund-raising program, whereby the funds raised will enable me to go to Poland next Feb/March. It'll be like a business trip - I'll take lots of notes and photos for Piano Society. So everybody should just forget about donating to Piano Society - donate to me, instead. Sounds good, huh?

Sure you can stay here for a night or two. But we live in a small commie block apartment and the living quarters are quite tight. Though I am quite far from Żelazowa Wola AND Paris

Yes, you should. And you should play something you like. :P

@Juuf - you anywhere near Warsaw? Most of the interesting things in Chopin's Polish life happened there anyway...
