 Post subject: Theory - Interval

hi, i have some qn regarding interval problems.

for the following question, the two notes are B and E natural and the key signatures are B flat, E flat, A flat and D flat.

How do i find the interval? do i count the interval by using B major or B flat major?

In the key of A-flat, the interval between B-flat and E natural is an augmented fourth. Why? Find out in the textbook, "Tonal Harmony" http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0 ... ter_view0/
