Recently found a website that gives a good intro to 2 part species counterpoint. I thought it had a good description and wanted to share.

Thanks for the link! What a well-written, fascinating article. Even though I find counterpoint very interesting, many of the supposedly basic explanations of said topic seem to require a doctorate to figure out (and I don't have one :lol: ). I found this discussion to be much kinder to the reader!
