His transcriptions are amazing. He could've been Liszt. The Borsato transcription was amazing. The Gladiotor was fine as well. He uses the three-handed-technique of Liszt. I watched the DVD and I found out that he plays arpeggios up with 2 hands and a melody in between.
However, I find his playing less inspiring. Maybe that's because he recorded some pieces at home, on his special Bechstein, and it sounds a bit "castle-like"

. But I heard a recording of when he was 18, and that was very good. He played the Beethoven Pathetique, a few Rachmaninov pieces, Chopin Andante Spinato et Polonaise Brillante and some Liszt (Don Juan and Benediction de la Dieu dans la solitude (sp?)). I think now he plays too much strange repetoire, and strange like combining very unfamous pieces with very overplayed pieces. When does he ever record a complete set of something? He only plays pieces, but no sets of pieces.
