Myra Hess taped on video

Postby robert » Mon Aug 27, 2007 7:11 am

Some of you has probably seen the video of Myra Hess from the National Gallery of London when she plays the first movement of the Beethoven Appassionata. Her technique is just incredible and she is able to produce a sound and effect that few, if anyone, has been able to do after her.

I wish to see more of her playing after hearing quite some and wonder if anyone in here knows about DVDs in which her video taped performances are included. I have spotted a few but surely, there must be at least one including all her video taped performances. I mean, she is really one of the most famous pianist of all times. So, if anyone has some information on the topic, please let me know as I am eager to buy it all :D.
