Happy Thanksgiving

Postby pianolady » Wed Nov 22, 2006 2:05 pm

Is there piano music for Thanksgiving? Yes I know, it would have to be from an American composer.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving everybody. And if all you people outside of the United States hurry up and jump on a plane, there might still be some turkey left for you when you get here. :)

Tchaikovsky: November from the Seasons & Few pieces from his Album from the Young
Schumann: there are a few from Scenes from Childhood & Album for the Young
Strauss: On a Quiet Woodland Path op.9/1
Coleridge-Taylor: Moorish Dance op.55
Foster: Tioga Waltz & The Village Bells
Gottschalk: Home Sweet Home op.51
Grainger: Colonial Song
Herbet: The Mountain Brook
Hill: Country Idylls op.10
Kelley: The Headless Horseman op.2

Thats all I have. Good luck finding any recordings of the composers besides Tchaik, Schumann, & Strauss.
