what happened to it?!?!?!?!?! I need sheet music! :(

and also...

I think I want to start learning a chopin etude... particularly op. 24 #12... it's intense and makes me almost want to cry when I hear it (and i'll probably cry when i'm learning it because it's so difficult lol..)

but anyone have any tips for someone taking a big step like this?

this may seem odd due to my playing ability and piece selection (because you would assume that playing only easy and short pieces it would not take a lot...but for me it does), but:

practice practice practice!

Like the saying goes about having enough wood to burn for the night if you are out in the wilderness, "if you think you have enough, look at your pile, and then collect four times as much, then maybe you will have enough." Point being, diligent and strict practicing, no rushing, and take it a few notes at a time. Vary your practice routine and technique if you become bored or stuck in a rut.

Hope this helps.

p.s. If you need a certain piece and can't find it, PM me and maybe I have it somewhere on one of my DVDs
