Happy first day of autumn! (almost). I just heard a little piece on the radio, I think the announcer said it was Tschaikowsky. It was a piano piece from a collection of twelve depicting the 12 months of the year. The station played the "September" and the "October" pieces.

Yes it is Tchaikovsky. The only one of those I've ever heard is June. Very pretty piece.

Hahah, Tchaikovsky's great, but I recommend also Ligeti's "Automne a Varsovie" :P

hmmm yes, i know the autumn one by tchaikovsky..i think its about AMUSA standard...and i played the june barcarolle one...quite nice, i guess :D

That's nice, but it makes me think more of winter than autumn. It's sledding down a huge hill and then maybe running into a bush at the bottom and then having to walk back up the hill lugging the sled. But now you get to go back down!
