I thought I had Vingt Regards...but I only have excerpts, and only one of them is one that I need.

You're lucky it's just the listening exam and not the performance one.

The Vingt Regards selection you need is on YT, played (wonderfully) by Roger Muraro.

I think I'm going to fail. Some of this music is really just awful and makes my head hurt...

Come on, none of the above is awful music (Campanella aside ), it's just you asking too much from yourself. You got a stack overflow. Ludus Tonalis or Messiaen, you can't grasp or appreciate them overnight. Cheer up. What does the listening exam consist of?

We have a couple inches of snow on the ground here. It's supposed to get warm tomorrow and rain, but then turn cold on Monday and snow again. Great...

But I did enjoy, at least, the style with which the pianist you recommended for Vingt Regards played. That piano was awesome, too - it sounded like a real freight train for a while in one piece. Impressive!
