Thank you Ingmar Bergman

Each year I purpose to my pupils his "Zauberflote", and all of them are happy to see this film.
They like both music and images. He was neither a pianist (but in one of his film Ingrid Bergman
is) nor a composer, but it's not difficult to find in many of his works the magic of music.

All best,
Sandro Bisotti

Someone said that he was the last of the great twentieth century writers and I totally agree. I am not sure how familiar you are with his works but I know he was very large world wide.

Someone on the radio said rightfully: "He told us something about us that we perhaps did not want to know." Being the son of a priest, he was never afraid to address the big questions in life and did not accept the answers given by religion.
