Having Fun with finale

Postby fluterific00 » Sat Jan 30, 2010 1:08 am

So- I've been writing pieces for a book I'm going to try to have published. I have an editor looking at some of my works as we speak.

The book is dedicated to teaching intervals and I have a song called Trains for seconds, Happy Snake Sad Snake for thirds, and Octopus for the octave. The newest piece I created today is called Jazz Cats teaching 7ths. Because it was a bit jazzy sounding, I thought I'd have some fun with finale's band in the box and the jazz generator.
Question: Is there a way to add even more instruments from band in a box and use that program more than once and still have everything fit on the page?

Anyway, I'm posting an audio of Jazz Cats with the melody and the arrangement created by Finale.
I think I have some wrong chord things and there's some passages that need to be ironed out. If you'd like to see the sheet music I can post it here, too.

Hope it's fun to listen to
Painting is just an advanced form of coloring. :D
