Forgot to ask: Any volunteers for compiling a Mussorgsky bio ? I mean, not just rip one off the web but providing something a bit original ?

I am unfamiliar with this set but I enjoyed as much as the never ending applausing audience did in the end. I should perhaps try to find something more of Mussorgsky as this music caught my attention.

Isn't it considered the greatest piano set to come out of Russia? That's what it reads on this website.

I will. I am relearning this for a short recital ( and permanent readiness) in a month and will be posting either the performance or an Edirol recording from my studio. I'm immersed in von Riesmann's biography of Mussorgsky (read a few random paragraphs everyday) and so am in a position to contribute an original article about one of my favorite composers. I'll have it by May 1st, probably sooner.

That's great, and sounds very promising indeed. But just the other day, I got pianolady to work on it .... perhaps you two can get in touch ?
