A very good recording of this famous work from the film Dangerous Moonlight. Addinsell is considered a one-bit-wonder for this Warsaw Concerto which was embedded in the score for the film.

While you might have not heard of Addinsell, you have probably heard this recording before as it is still frequently played at radios etc.

The recording is up on the site.

Oh yes!! I enjoyed this. I am a great fan of film music and am very familiar with this piece. As Robert says this is Addinsell's great claim to fame although film buffs of a certain vintage in the UK are aware he was responsible for quite a few British film scores from 1930's-1960's. The producers of Dangerous Moonlight in 1941 couldn't persuade Rachmaninoff to write the score so Addinsell was charged with composing a piece in the style of the great man.

Setrak, I would be interested to know the details of your digital piano recording.
