On the PS homepage, I have dispensed with the modules 'Recently added composers' and 'Recently added artists'. We don't want the same people sitting there forever if there's no activity from them.

Instead what we have now is a module with 'Recent composers' and 'Recent artists' which will change as recordings get added to the site. The module is auto-generated each midnight so this saves us work, as well as makes the page more interesting and dynamic. There is a maximum of 4 composers and 4 artists to be shown. The left one of each is the most recent, and the oldest will drop off on the right. It's only fair that the most active people show up most often.

So if you want to get your mug (and that of your favorite composer) on the homepage, do submit recordings !

It's a big improvement and a nice feature. Thanks for doing it!

You could have at leat waited until I "dropped off the table." Just kidding. I think it is a most appropriate decision. Of course, Chris will become a permanent feature. ;^)

Not permanent. Months have been known to go by without me submitting something. There is plenty chance for others to feature too.
Although when there's a flurry of submissions, maybe not all can be shown.

It cost me quite a lot of programming work, I can tell you. Fingers crossed there's no nasty bugs in it that I can't reproduce on Windows.
