the recital calendar is no longer active. It was too much of a time-consuming task.
Perhaps a daft question, but I ask because I'm about to put in some effort to finish the podcast script and my effort might be better directed elsewhere:
Are you and the other admins happy with the current set of content management tools?
It sounds like there's lots of manual work involved with getting submitted music tagged and filed properly, and it sounds like the same problem got in the way of keeping the calendar going. Which is too bad. Maybe it could be made more manageable with the right setup.
What I'm thinking very generally is, I've worked with CMSes that automatically take care of at least some of the tasks you have to do regularly, and definitely take care of generating podcasts and other feeds for all applicable content (no special scripting needed). So I'm wondering if you guys and lady are open to having me do some research on content management systems, based on input from you on how you currently do things and how you wish they worked instead.
Alternatively, if you're not terribly dissatisfied with what you have now, I could just finish the damn script.
