Erik Helling
Erik Helling, from Sweden, has had a 20 year
long career of performing and teaching classical music. The primary
focus is on 19th and 20th century composers, such as Liszt, Prokofiev,
Bartok and Scriabin. Former piano teachers include e.g. Italian pianist
Antonio Milner.
While still involved in activities surround classical music, Helling is currently a lawyer involved in university teaching and phd research.
Helling is also founder of the Liszt Society of Scandinavia and main administrator of the LisztWorks site at www.lisztworks.com. This site contains a catalogue of Liszt's entire works and aims to implement free recordings of Liszt's works through the contribution of members and voluntary artists.
