Mauro Bertoli, born in 1983, started to study music at a very early age and graduated at the Academy of Music “G.Verdi” in Milan (Italy) under the tutelage of Master Sergio Marengoni, achieving the highest mark, distinction and a special mention.
He also graduated at the National Academy of Music “S. Cecilia” in Rome under the tutelage of Master Sergio Perticaroli achieving the highest mark with a distinction (best laureate in 2006). In June 2008 he obtained the “Diploma Superior d’ Enseignement, a l’unanimité avec felicitation” at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, under the tutelage of Nelson Delle Vigne.
He studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm with Master Mats Widlund.
Now he’s studying at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris with Master Nelson Delle Vigne and he is attending the “European Academy of high specialization”, musical courses with Master Sergio Marengoni - Foundation “R. Romanini” in Brescia.
He is also a student of “The International Certificate for Piano Artists – ICPA” under the chairmanship of Philippe Entremont and the artistic direction of Nelson Delle Vigne.
He received a prestigious national award: the “Giuseppe Sinopoli Award 2006” assigned by the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, in memory of the famous conductor who died in 2001.
He won 25 first awards, at the “Music Competition” in Paris – at “II Pianistic International Price” of Accademia Musicale Umbra - “M. Bramanti” competition in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, where he received a special mention of merit - “Mascia Masin” in Terni - “Rospigliosi” in Lamporecchio twice (first absolute award among all categories and public award) - “Terzo” competition (obtaining also the award “Angelo Tavella” as best talent) - “Città di Castiglion Fiorentino” as absolute winner of the competition, and also in Moncalieri, “Umanitaria Award” (for the 5 best student of Italian Academy of Music), Premio “M. Koliqi 2007”, Tortona, Salsomaggiore Terme, Pinerolo, Brindisi…
He recorded CDs for Sheva, Sarx Records, Stradivarius, Son Art Studios….
He played for Radio Classica Milano.
He worked with various artists such as E. Ruske, E. Còlon, K. Grant, J. Mathaes, R. Robinson, L. Isaacson, L.H. Klokk, R. Beretta, J. Bignamini, V. Parisi, M. Motterle, A. Rebaudengo, G. Casati, S. Formenti, P. Bonomini…
He partecipated at some masterclasses with A. Waissemberg, R. Duchable, P. Entremont, B. Canino, A. Lucchesini, B. Bizzarri, R. Roux, S. Lemelin, F. Rossi, M. Brunello, J. Dick, E. Andjaparidze, F. Clidat.
He held more than 140 recitals as a soloist, chamber music and with orchestra (Orchestra da camera di Brescia, Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza, Orchestra Coccia di Novara, Texas Festival Orchestra, I Pomeriggi musicali di Milano, Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra…), in Italy (“La Fenice” in Venice, “Verdi Hall” in Milan, Auditorium Parco della Musica - “S. Cecilia Hall”, in Rome, New Comunal Theatre in Vicenza, “Teatro Coccia” in Novara…), Usa, Canada, Israel, Germany, France, Belgium, Albania and Sweden.
